The Brass Band of Minot’s 2026-2027 season will open with a concert at 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 18, 2026.
“America 250: The Brass Band of Minot Salutes Veterans & First Responders”
Featuring a variety of great Brass Band music in a variety of styles from fanfares to a musical depiction of the Civil War. The concert will include a tribute to Todd Cresap, a founding member of the band and solo cornet player who passed away on Sept 12th, and a musical interlude by the North Dakota National Guard’s Cover Down Brass Ensemble

Brass Band of Minot concerts are free and open to the public though cash and check donations are very welcome and help pay for the band’s expenses. The hall has a hearing loop system for hearing aid users and an elevator accessible from the east side of Old Main.
This project is supported in part by a grant from the North Dakota Council on the Arts, which receives funding from the state legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts.
